We drove over 2 hours to try this spot. Let me tell they are awesome. Service was quick, food came out fast and was delicious. We spoke with another couple who was there as well and they totally agreed the food was amazing. I asked to speak with the chef, because everything was so great probably the best vegan burger I’ve ever had (next to mine of course😁). We will gladly make the trip back to Nanas Kitchen again. As a person trying my hardest to transition to vegan, this has been my absolute best motivation to just do it. Everything that I have ordered has been phenomenal and so well seasoned. I knew that I was doing too much when I would leave church and drive 40 mins just to get something before they closed. My recommendations are the sweet potatoes, collard greens , nanas xl soul plate, and the drinks. Pics can't describe the flavor and they have all been winners. Read less

The food was OK the portion size for the amount of money doesn’t add up. I got the Nana’s soul XL, Barbecue cauliflower was good, but I only got four pieces, Collard greens were a little too sour for me, baked beans were good, Fried pickles were good. I had to choose those because they didn’t have mac & cheese, which I really enjoy soul food mac and cheese, not to have that was a big disappointment. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in, I had to order at a kiosk. They were out of desserts as well. The drink I got did not have fresh strawberries at the bottom like the picture displayed. It was all Syrup and did not taste very well. Overall experience was not good. I also spoke with the person running it and he didn’t seem too knowledgeable about customer service. He came out and told me they didn’t have Mac and cheese 10 mins after I ordered my food because he said he was on the phone. Just not a good experience all around. Read less

I give this place a strong three, I was taken back by they didn’t have any macaroni and cheese, so I had to get double yams but the yams were good just not a double portion like they said. I got the XL plate and it was pretty good other than the baked beans and greens just were not to my liking. The peach cobbler was good a little pricey for the portion. Overall I’ll give the meal and food a solid three. The service was basically on existent due to the kiosk and I’m old school so no patron interaction at all. The place itself could use some updating. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor, from the crispy chik’n sandwich with its perfect breading and spicy honey glaze, to the plant-based ribs that pulled apart like the real thing. The sides like mac & cheese, collard greens, baked beans, and fried “wangz” bring that comforting, home-cooked feel. Service is warm and welcoming, and even though it can get busy, the team does their best to keep things friendly and smooth. The cozy strip-mall setting adds to the authentic, no-frills charm.
