I normally don’t write negative reviews. This is just a review in my experience today. I have had good experiences in the past. I arrived at 8:07am on 7/17/25 and the sign was closed. I saw a staff unpacking coconut water in the fridge. The door was open so I entered and asked if they were closed. Staff responded they were. I asked when they open, he said “8”. I told him it was 8:07am. He proceeded to say that he just got on an d is unpacking groceries. I asked if he would like me to not order, he said that I could order. I ordered a Large Acai make your own smoothie. When I received my 24oz cup of smoothie, it was 2/3 filled. I asked if there is a reason the cup was 1/3 empty. He said that the smoothie doesn’t come with acai. So I asked “can you put acai in it?” He responded yes. However after 5 minutes, he was unable to get the machine working and literally returned the cup still with 1/3 empty to me and shrugged his shoulders. I then asked if I could get more of the other ingredients so that I get the 24oz I paid for. He said yes and made it. After 2nd blending, the drink was very watered down. Not once was I offered a refund or offered anything. I had to ask for everything. I have been to this Oakberry at least 6 times in the past and have had good experiences with above average customer service. However, I do not believe this staff (Hannah H on my receipt) has the customer service skills needed to help you run your business. Read less

It used to be my favorite place and for months all I had for lunch was açaí. However, my last few orders came missing items. Last time, a whole açaí bowl was missing and the second one was prepared wrong. I paid $40 and did not even get my food. No one is answering me about it. The açaí is good but the service is terrible. The cups are too expensive! The acai itself was decent. The toppings were okay. But they were not certified organic. Considering, $18 for a 24 oz cup was darn too expensive. And this was without the extra toppings that costs more like cashew butter. I was going to give 1 star, but the server was nice, patient enough to explain some stuff. With a $2 tip, $20 for a 24 oz acai "cup" was really hard to swallow for me. Here is my suggestion: lower the price and go for the volume, not charge a lot for a small number of rich customers. I truly hate to do this but every time (twice) I come to get my bowl and Anthony is working it takes foreverrrrr. I have only 30min to eat and he lags . I had to interrupt him to ask him to change his gloves because mid way preparing my smoothie he decides to disinfect clean the top of the machine WITHOUT changing his gloves before touching my cup.ughhh. im going to avoid ordering when I see him working ..sorry not sorry cause now 15mins later trying to eat this I need a straw not a spoon .
