I wish I could bring this place home with me! It’s comfortable and delicious-definitely bring the girls back here on vacation. The prices are so insanely low for such good quality tasty food.

The Mushroom Panini I ordered was so delicious! Well thought out sandwich! Everything worked so well together! Would order again next visit!

Always a treat to find GF options and this place had many! Delicious smoothies and excellent sandwich packed with lots of meat. Chill atmosphere Highly recommend for lunch and we will be back.

We didn't feel like her veggie options were an afterthought, like they were most other places in the OBX. The basil pesto and sun-dried tomato pesto were stellar. I love outer bean cafe, I’ve come here for over 4 years every summer and always enjoy their tomato mozzarella panini. their coffee is usually good however sometimes it’s not as strong as i would like. One thing i have noticed is the wait time and this is at NO fault of the workers. everytime i go there are at most 2 people working, and when it gets busy they aren’t able to keep up with the amount of orders coming in. i highly reccomend managment putting more staff on the floor during these busy times as many people in there including me had to wait almost 30 mins! overall i love this cafe so much, their food and coffee tastes fresh, i just wish they would support their staff more during these busy summer times!
