I am not vegan nor plant based but I came here for brunch with my friend who is! I had the cucumber mint lemonade which is refreshing and amazing. It was sweet and definitely created a party in my mouth. Then I had the chicken and waffles and not one time did I miss any meat or sweets. I didn’t get the hot agave but it was so flavorful. I absolutely love PLANTA—I can remember my first visit like it was just yesterday. It’s a place that truly caters to the mindful and health-conscious, and while I’m not vegan myself, I really appreciate what they’re doing here. I even brought a vegan friend along for happy hour, hoping to indulge in some delicious bites and share in my excitement. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite live up to the expectations I had, mainly due to the service. Our waiter, Patrick, didn’t seem particularly engaged or eager to help, which was a bit disappointing considering we were there for happy hour and wanted to try a variety of small dishes. We found ourselves having to ask other waitstaff for assistance a few times, which is not what I expected from an establishment with such a great reputation. While the food and concept are fantastic, the service could use some improvement. I hope this was just an off day, because I’d definitely love to return and give it another shot! Read less
