While exploring DC and craving Indian food, we ended up at Rajaji—and it was honestly the perfect choice. We ordered Dal Makhani, Murg Chicken (which came with rice), Raita, Naan, and Roti. Every single dish was flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. What made the experience even better was the amazing service. A kind gentleman from Nepal took care of us with genuine hospitality and a warm smile. He even took the time to chat with us, making the whole experience feel more like a family dinner than just a restaurant visit. The vibe was calm and welcoming, the place was spotless, and the food came out super quick. As tourists, this visit really stood out. It’s rare to find a spot that nails both the food and the service—10/10, highly recommend if you’re in DC and craving authentic Indian flavors! Read less

5 Stars – A Hidden Gem in DC! I had an amazing experience at Rajaji Curry House. I ordered the Daal Makhani and Butter Chicken with rice, naan, and tandoori roti—and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, authentic, and comforting. The butter chicken was perfectly creamy, and the daal had that slow-cooked depth that’s hard to find. What really stood out, though, was the service. Not only was it fast and friendly, but we also had a great conversation with the staff—it felt like visiting a friend’s home. You can tell they truly care about the food and the people who walk through the door. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in DC and craving some top-notch Indian food. I’ll definitely be back!
