Sophia's Veggie Cafe in Jersey City deserves five stars! The veggie burger was absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The service was just as impressive. The hostess greeted us warmly and took the time to walk us through the menu, even recommending what to order. Her suggestions were spot on! The entire staff was friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The cozy, inviting atmosphere made the meal even better. I’m definitely coming back again soon and bringing friends. If you love tasty vegetarian food and great service, this place is a must! Read less

Awesome vegetarian restaurant, located in the heart of Jersey City. Delicious food — we had the house salad, the daily soap which was lentil, sweet potatoes soap, absolutely the best soap I have had in a long time. For main dish, we selected the zucchini and lentil hamburger — amazing - soft and tasty! Definitely coming back here. Strongly recommend! Read less

Delicious food from delightful people with a quiet, cozy atmosphere. We got better service than from most waiters at full service restaurants. The food is so flavorful, but not overwhelmingly salty. Nothing was dry, either, everything was fresh and moist. I usually hate gluten-free versions of foods, but their gluten-free waffles are extremely moist, like a mochi/waffle hybrid. I also had no problem getting a table and an outlet on a Saturday afternoon, even when nearby cafés were packed. It's a great place to bring a laptop or gather a small group! Read less

Lovely staff and atmosphere. I’m only giving three stars because unfortunately the blueberries on my waffles were frozen and the tofu scramble was 1) a comically small portion for being $7.50 and 2) came out cold! I will absolutely come back to try some of their other items, but overall I thought the portions were small considering the price. I feel like if I order waffles, it should be more than one waffle. We love going to Subia’s! We’ve been here a few times and it’ll probably be one of our weekend brunch go-to spots. Subia’s is definitely the best vegan brunch spot in New Jersey! The food is so delicious!! I love the triple decker sandwich and the blt with cheese sandwich. The breakfast wrap is also so flavourful. The staff are so friendly and nice, which makes for a great experience all around. I’m excited to try other menu items! They have a lot on their menu, more than I expected for a cafe, but everything we’ve tried so far has been great. Read less
