Food was meh. Sweet potato hash was cold on arrival. Pizza was mostly sauce and bread (I have had authentic margherita pizza and this was a mediocre attempt). Server was alright. Burger with (cold) sweet potato hash + individual pizza + one 6 oz mixed drink + tip = $75 check Things really went south with our experience when we wanted some ice cream for dessert and waited more than 10 minutes for a $5 HALF SPOON to come half melted. The server just kind of dropped it on the table and attempted to scurry off quickly. We could tell he was a little embarrassed himself to drop off something so underwhelming. I can't imagine how he felt dropping that off and then including two spoons. We would each get half a bite and it would be gone. Did they scrape up the last little bit and hope the customer wouldn't say anything? Having family in the restaurant industry and understanding that it's a very challenging business, I am normally very generous with my reviews and I never send food back. But given the price of the meal and one drink and then the insulting $5 half spoon of ice cream at the end, we asked to have it removed from the check and sent it back. Not a busy night. It was a Monday and very few customers. Server said he had to get the manager to remove the ice cream spoon from the check. I would expect the manager to come out and have an honest conversation with a less-than-satisfied customer. Nope. Crickets. We are not from Nashville, but we visit about 3/4 times a year. We do not ever plan to come back to this restaurant. Read less

Food was good, but fairly pricey for what we got. Our server was excellent, but the host that seated us pretty much cast a shadow on our experience. We went in for a late lunch. The place was probably half full. She seated us at the loudest table next to where the drinks come out at the bar. It was loud, had a mop and bucket-just not pleasant, so I kindly asked to move. The host acted very put out and said it would be awhile. We waited a few minutes and then she took is to the last table by the window where the kitchen, server stand, restroom, break area, and back door were all a few feet away! Probably the worst table in the place. So I asked if it would be possible if we could have one of the dozen empty tables that we passed on the way and she said no, they had some reservations and other reasons that didn’t make sense. This is well past the lunch rush at about 1:45. So we sat there and were cold because every time the door opened we got a gush of air. The lovely tables in much better locations were never seated the whole time we were there. I worked as a hostess for years and I know that this is not how customers should be treated. Read less

Party of three for an early lunch. We arrived at 11am and asked for a window seat, we were seated right away. Staff were friendly and service was average. We started with the roasted Brussels sprouts and two of us tried the seasonal butternut squash soup. The Brussel sprouts were fresh and cooked well but they were very salty and the glaze wasn’t what we expected, garlicky and savory. The butternut squash soup was good, probably the favorite dish of the group, described as “pumpkin pie soup” and “tastes like Christmas” perhaps with hints of nutmeg, though it did have a savory base. I got the spaghetti squash casserole. Sometimes spaghetti squash is prepared more like spaghetti, but this dish is was prepared much more like a standard squash. The squash seemed a bit underdone and crunchy, and the dish was lacking salt. Overall, I enjoyed it and would eat it again, but it wasn’t anything special. The rest of our group got the seasonal market salad with grass fed steak and the Korean noodle bowl with steak, medium. The steak was cooked correctly and tender. The salad had a great apple cider vinegar dressing, but way too much of it, and was a good portion. The Korean noodles were a bit too salty and saucy, muting the other flavors, and were NOT sweet like most Korean food. It would have benefited from a cold slaw on top to balance the flavor. Overall, everything was very fresh and high quality, we enjoyed no seed oils or artificial ingredients but the flavors weren’t impressive. Definitely get sauce or dressing on the side. The atmosphere was great, colorful and bright. Bathrooms were clean. Might try again, we’ll have to see. Read less

If you are health conscious this place is pretty good. The homemade veggie burger, per my wife was one of the best she’s had. The jalapeño sauce they put on the burger is magic. Its not spicey. I had the grass fed burger, it wasn’t bad, not the best but not bad. Their edamame dumpling is definitely a must try. Our meal came to $70. If we had only ordered water and no appetizer our bill would have been $42. Read less
