I travel to New York often and have access to some of the best, affordable vegetarian food back home in Vietnam, yet abcV still holds a special place for me. The space is bright, airy, and inviting, with a sprinkling of Zen Buddhist elements that feel natural rather than forced. My two favorite dishes are the Whole Roasted Cauliflower and the Mushroom Walnut Bolognese. When available, I strongly suggest to opt for the truffle pasta. The menu is clearly thoughtful, offering dishes that balance creativity with comfort. Some flavors may not match the traditional or ethically sourced originals I’ve tried elsewhere, but the food here consistently hits the spot. It’s a reliable and deeply satisfying staple I keep coming back to whenever I’m in the city. Read less

I was really excited to try this place. The interior is bright, cheerful, and inviting. It definitely has the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to sit down and enjoy a meal. That said, I did feel it was a bit overpriced. The drink I ordered was delicious, but the portion was surprisingly small for the price. I felt similarly about the food. It tasted good, but nothing stood out as exceptional given the cost and portion size. Still, I think it’s worth checking out, and I’d be open to going back to try a few more items. Maybe we didn't pick the right thing and need to go back outside of brunch. Read less

Food and service were great, liked the atmosphere too. Got the seasonal zucchini dip and the dates small plate, as well as one of the juices. Overall, worth checking out, but def pricey for quantity o... Read more

It’s a charming spot with decent food, but not without flaws. The scrambled eggs were delightful but missed the mark without any bread or dosa on the side. The beet was outstanding, though. I ordered the eggs with mushrooms, but they were undercooked and had to be sent back. We wrapped up our meal with pancakes for dessert, which was quite good. The service was passable. Our server appeared overwhelmed, but a young man assisting her stood out and was impressive. Read less
