My wife is Vegan and I needed a good place to take her for her birthday. We were visiting New York City, So I search far And wide to find a suitable place. I have to say that cadence was above my expectations. We ordered 90% of the menu and there wasn’t a single thing we love. Our server Iyanna had great recommendations for both food and drinks And Tony Who was at the bar was amazing as well. We were late for our reservation due to Travel conflicts And we called ahead of time and had our reservation changed without any argument. I love this place and will definitely go back. But I have to end this review with saying the cornbread and Nashville sandwich took my breath away. (Did not get a picture of everything forgot to take them food was too good) Read less

I love this place, so many unique vegan plates. Fried tomatilas were my favorite- the coat of tofu spread is amazing. Also curried greens were very tasty and satisfying!

The atmosphere was beautiful I enjoyed the aesthetic of the restaurant the mood of the music was all a vibe. The waiters were friendly but the food and pricing I wasn’t too good of. The menu had changed and the new menu was not it. The cornmeal dinner rolls had no flavor so I sent them back. The new Mac and cheese I only ate because I was hungry and the rest of the food took over 40 minutes to be brought to the table. The oyster waffle sandwich was ok 5/10. The glass of wine is too expensive. Though I enjoyed the vibes I will not go back for the food. I was disappointed with the food and pricing compared to the old menu. Read less

I absolutely loved this place! The hospitality, the customer service and the food: 10/10. This restaurant has been on my list for the longest and I finally gave them a visit during their Veganuary special. For the first course, I tried their lobster mushroom boil. It’s basically a seafood boil in soup form. For the second course, I selected their cajun grits, which included their banana blossom catfish. Lastly, for the third course, I tried their tasty banana pudding. Yum! Every course that I tried was delicious and my host explained in detail each food item served to me. I would absolutely return back and recommend this plant-based/vegan restaurant. Read less
