Our evening at Eleven Madison Park was easily the best dining experience I've ever had, and probably the best I ever will. I knew when I booked the reservation that we were going to have a great meal. What I wasn't expecting was how incredible and thoughtful the staff would be. The service was so good it literally brought me to tears. We were visiting New York and in our hubris we thought it'd be a great idea to take an 8 year old who hates vegetables to a fully plant based fine dining restaurant. They went out of their way to ensure our kid had some unique food that they would like, even going so far as to whip up a custom dish. At the end of the night we were given a tour of the kitchen and there was a chef's hat for our kid. AND THEY MADE A TINY ONE FOR THEIR TOY TARANTULA! It's unlikely I'll be back to New York, so I likely will never have another chance to dine here. But I'll definitely remember my visit for a long time Read less

We expected a lot for the $1200 excl. wine and drinks, but in my opinion, the place is overhyped! The self declared titel of best vegan restaurant in the world, well… we eat better at home! The service was great, exept for the ridiculous refilling of my glass with water, but the restaurant was static and boring. The food looked very good, and the presentation at the table was original and enjoyable! But… most of the food tasted bad, exept for the potato and the onion bread. The noodles in soup was not something you expect in a joint like this. We ordered the $100,- signature cake as an extra, it tasted like a prefab Target cake. Won’t go there again, even with a 75% discount. We had a wonderful night, sitting there, all dressed up, but this was NOT in my top 30 of favorite vegan restaurants! Read less
食物概念新穎 但不特別美味。餐廳完成度很高
Quality, elegance and service that are truly fantastically well done. You will enter and depart with a smile and want to return as soon as possible.

Eleven Madison Park was an unforgettable experience—refined, thoughtful, and absolutely stunning. Every dish was beautifully crafted, but the standout for me was the asparagus. It was the perfect expression of the season and completely stole the show. The service was flawless, the atmosphere elegant, and the entire evening felt special from start to finish. A must-visit in New York City. Read less

Beautiful restaurant, very friendly staff, amazing food, but lacks innovation. As someone who's been primarily plant based for the last 15~ years and has dined at many Michelin restaurants, I was pretty let down. The dishes were all good flavor wise, but they weren't anything to write home about nor were they anything special that wouldn't be served at any other high end restaurant. I think what marks a truly good vegan restaurant is the ability to manipulate vegan proteins, as you do have to be incredibly innovative and have extensive vegan AND nonvegan knowledge to do this in a way that is tasteful to the general population. There were 0 protein-based courses; but don't believe the stigma about vegans not eating protein!! I aim for 100g a day and hit it easily most days. While I'm not going to Michelin restaurants for nutritional content, creating at least one unique protein-rich dish is what I fully expected and was most let down about. Everyone left dinner varying levels of satiated, but within an hour we were all joking about stopping by Chinatown or a bodega for some protein. The second hardest category to manipulate, imo, is vegan desserts/baked goods. While the first course of bread was incredible (my 2nd favorite course, right behind the artichoke heart), they really dropped the ball by serving mochi sorbet and strawberries with koji cream. I have a running joke that anytime I go to a restaurant if their only vegan dessert option is sorbet or sorbet-adjacent they get docked a star. A sorbet based dessert is such a cop-out and incredibly overdone by subpar restaurants that just want to advertise that they accommodate to vegans. A truly good vegan-friendly restaurant would be able to come up with something a bit more complicated like a baked food/pastry/composed dish that isn't just fruit + a dip or frozen fruit. A phenomenal example of this is Uchi, which consistently comes up with very unique vegan desserts as well as other composed dishes despite not even being on most vegans radar. Additionally, Joel Robuchon, Wana Yook, L'Atelier, Restaurant Story, and a few other Michelin restaurants were all able to offer incredible, one of kind vegan dessert courses despite not typically catering to plant based diets whatsoever. All-in-all, I'm extremely grateful for the experience and opportunity to dine here, but I would explore one of the many other Michelin restaurants in the city before choosing to come back to 11 Madison again, and saying that as someone who follows a vegan diet most days feels wrong. As the only 3-star vegan Michelin restaurant, I feel there's a level of responsibility to uphold higher standards for vegan dining, and they really have not done veganism justice here. Read less

I came here with my husband for a 7:45pm dinner on an extraordinarily hot day in late June. We made the reservation 28 days prior to the actual event. I had been wanting to try this restaurant so I was saving it for a special occasion (milestone birthday). The space is beautiful and very spacious; but almost so expansive that it felt kind of cold. I felt like I was in the restaurant of a nice hotel in downtown Chicago; not at one of the most famous restaurants in one of Manhattan’s most popular neighborhoods. The restaurant seemed about 65% full when we sat down and slowly got more empty. We were greeted very promptly by various members of the staff. I don’t think we had a primary server but that was never made clear to us either way. About 25 minutes into the experience I asked “could we please get some more insight into the experience we will be receiving?” And at that point one of the servers walked us through the tasting menu. Overall, the service and staff is very good but maybe a little cold. We were at the restaurant for almost three hours. We received eight savory courses and one sweet course. Was the food good, fresh, and unique? Yes. Did the food blow me away based on the hype of the restaurant, reviews, and price of the meal? Absolutely not. The tasting menu plus a few drinks per person was almost $1,200 with tip. While the portion sizes of each course are small, we left very much full. I would likely not come back to this restaurant unless someone else was paying. Read less

The email I wrote after we walked out before meal service even ended: Dear Mr. Brown, I wanted to reach out about our recent dinner. We came in excited for what should have been a seamless three-star experience, but unfortunately, it missed the mark on multiple levels. We purchased the beverage pairing expecting thoughtful pairings with each course, but it felt like we were just served a selection of wines. There was no explanation from the sommelier about how each wine complemented the dish – though he may not have had the chance, given that food wasn’t arriving in sync with service. We flagged the pacing issue to one of the attendants who said a captain would come by, but no one did. Instead, more wine was poured while we sat waiting with no acknowledgment that service was off. When food did arrive, it lacked the consistency expected at this level. One dish in particular was so heavily salted on one side and bland on the other – it was clear the kitchen didn’t check for balance. There was also a mix-up with dietary restrictions, where a gluten dish was placed in front of the person who doesn’t eat gluten. Small details like this are critical. What stood out most was watching the table next to us, seated at least 30 minutes after we arrived, finish their meal while we were still on our fifth course. At that point, we asked to end the meal early because the experience felt so poor. We were told dinner would be comped. Walking out mid-meal at a three-star restaurant should never happen and appreciate how you stepped in. Read less
