I cannot overstate how incredible our experience was at Elizabeth’s. The food was not just delicious, each plate was a work of art. My partner and I left full and satisfied after our meal, and truly enjoyed the atmosphere and next-level hospitality of the servers and sommeliers. The owner herself was there working alongside her staff to ensure we had a 5-star experience. While this was certainly the most I’ve ever spent on a vegan meal, it was worth every penny. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to be surprised and delighted by creative, delicious plant-based food and/or celebrate a special occasion. Read less

Elizabeth’s is a testament to the fact plant based food can be just as elevated as animal products. This is truly a gem among the D.C. food scene! You arrive at what looks like a stunning brownstone, which immediately creates a sense of exclusivity. Inside, this space feels incredibly intentional. This place is a well oiled machine and its dining done right. Every course was thoughtful, enjoyable, and I didn’t want the service to end! From two non-vegans… we were blown away. Truly a wonderful tasting menu, we loved every single dish (and everything was gorgeous!) The wine and non-alcoholic pairings were also excellent and they were able to accommodate a gluten-free diet (one of the best gf rolls I’ve ever had). I love coming to Elizabeth’s every year for my birthday and each experience is better than the last! The dishes are unique, well curated, seasonal, and incredibly delicious. The service is excellent with each course being thoroughly explained and served at the perfect pace. Our server, Spencer, was a delight to have and made our evening thoroughly enjoyable. Elizabeth’s is a must if you’d like a unique Vegan dining experience that is hands down one of the best pre-fixe dinners in D.C.. Read less

Incredible experience for vegans and non vegans alike. Every dish was an experience with deep flavor profiles and well thought out progression. We decided against the wine pairing and opted instead to create our own cocktail pairing throughout dinner. Top notch. My only feedback - I’d wished for a more in depth description of the why and how behind our courses. The wait staff did a great explaining what we were having, but to take the experience up a notch, I’d love to hear about why the specific plates are chosen, where ingredients are sourced, and how the dish is uniquely envisioned. I’ve had a similar experience at other fine dining establishments, and it really elevates the evening. Otherwise, this was an incredible choice for a special occasion. I would absolutely return.
