My wife and I have been several times and have really enjoyed our experience each time. Our first visit was for my birthday last year. We did the wine pairing dinner and it was phenomenal. Our service here has also always been top notch. The servers are all very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about the food. This to me speaks volumes about a restaurant when the people who choose to work there love to also eat there. The second time was for a happy hour. Drinks were excellent and our small bites were very tasty. We can’t wait to go back and try brunch and also high tea. You will not regret trying this amazing restaurant. It’s not only for vegans or vegetarians but also people who just enjoy amazing food, exceptional service and a relaxing atmosphere. Read less

We visited Maiden for my birthday, and we made the drive to Fort Worth from Frisco for the experience. This was our first time there, and we will be back! The food was absolutely delicious, like mouth watering. The kind of meal that you keep thinking about, because it was so good. The service is top notch. Our server was kind, informative, speedy, and she had a great sense of humor. It was obvious the staff enjoyed being there. The decor is cool, and upscale retro vibe. My husband and I drove all the way from Dallas to celebrate my birthday. We got the 8 course winter tasting menu that came with an opening brut, which was a nice surprise. We each also ordered a specialty cocktail. Everything was so delicious! And the cocktails were great too! Maiden is a beautiful restaurant with the ideal ambiance. The service was excellent. No complaints. I was really excited to have a fine dining experience as a vegan. It’s really hard to find an upscale restaurant catered to vegans. The ratings were very high, so I expected to have a great dinner. The blini amouse bouche was really good. The Crème fraîche was done really well. The soaked strawberry really elevated the amouse bouche. We started with the hush puppies and the charred artichoke. The hush puppies were recommended as one of the favorites on the menu. I would have to disagree, unfortunately. They were extremely dense and moist inside. I couldn’t tell if that was the goal or maybe they weren’t cooked long enough. The artichoke needed a bit of salt and pepper and it didn’t come out charred as advertised. The steak from the steak au poivre dish was the best of what we ate. The Brussels sprouts left little to be desired. They were served shredded and with some sauce on them. The taste seemed sour. Not like the Brussels were bad, but whatever it was coated with made the taste oddly sour. The salmon was second best in comparison to the steak. We didn’t take the risk of trying the dessert. So I can’t speak on that. Overall, I’d give the food a 3. I was excited, but I can say that I’m not sure that I’d give Maiden another chance unless I’m in the area and that’s the vegan option. This was one of the best meals of my life! We came from out of town and did their tasting menu and I *still* think about the food I ate. I always hope they’re doing well as a business so that I can visit again next time I’m in Fort Worth. Unpretentious but sophisticated, DELICIOUS food. I would do close to anything for the recipe for that slow cooked cabbage dish, and I didn’t even like cabbage before I ate it! Read less
