I love smoothie bowls and smoothies so this place is up my alley! I tried a "pink flamingo" smoothie, small size just in case I didn't like it. However, it was freakin delicious, like a tropical island in my mouth...lol. With that being said they are pretty expensive with the smoothie/juice and some of the bowls are a little high as well. I went here with a friend and I got the pink flamingo drink with added passion fruit and she got the mango delight drink. Unfortunately neither drink had any flavor at all in them, it was like drinking a flavorless slushy. These drinks were incredibly expensive for it to have zero flavor in them. However the service was outstanding and the girls working there were super kind. I just wish the treats here tasted like something :( Read less

The 1st bowl is the one I got at the Lee's summit location the 2nd one with the coconut on top is the one from the plaza where I normally go. I always ask them to replace banana with pineapple and strawberries and THIS is what I got even after asking them to put on more fruit. She literally took it with an attitude and gave me 2 extra pineapple chunks which tasted heavily of ginger. Also the smoothie base wasn't even enough. I usually get full off these. I am happy with my experience at Nektar. The prices are a little steep, but the quality of the product is very good. Employees are always super friendly!

I went two days in a row here. My son is loving it too so I gave it a try. And oh my goodness. I love the freshness of the bowls. I will definitely be going back my next trip to KC.
