honestly, the food quality really went went down the drain. the food used to be good here, but I went here for fathers day, and the food was so unappetizing and non tasty. we ordered the chicken salad, a burrito, and sandwich, and guacamole. literally.. im not exaggerating, nothing had flavor. the place looked like Mexican food, but sure didn't taste like it. it was bland and tasted almost store bought. the only good thing that was good was their house made bread. everything else was so nasty, non tasty, bland, and really underwhlming. also its very expensive restaurant. if I were you, I would go to a real Mexican restaurant and just dont order meat. at least it will taste good. the decor is really cute. so its such a shame the food sucks. also, the guac was definitely store bought. the tomatoes in it tasted old and stale. there was no flavor whatsoever! such a disservice to vegetarian food & Mexican food! Good food from the most unlikely place. Parking was a challenge in Burbank but the food was good and proportional were not hefty. Prices were reasonable as well.

Been eating at this restaurant and telling people about it ever since it opened. Always had great service from Amy and the owners family. New waitress needs help with customer service skills. I have spent thousands of dollars there over the years. The waitress made a mistake over charging me and then addressed me as if I was not going to pay because I stated that the vegan cheese empanada was not satisfactory. The waitress gave a really bad feeling. Almost bad enough to not want to go back. Read less

Was a bit skeptical of the location since i couldnt see it easily while driving down the street, but went in and the place seemed cozy and colorful! Food was nice and its different to see cultures adapt to began/vegetarian food, where i am from it is uncommon to see a pure vegan restaurant. Keep it up, everything was delicious! Read less

Update: I had an issue where I was served a burrito made with egg, which I’m allergic to. They remade it, but never informed me that I’d be charged for both—a serious problem, especially when the mistake was on their end. When I raised my concern, the owner’s daughter was disrespectful and dismissive, completely lacking in customer service skills. Their recent public response—“We don’t take your feedback seriously because you’re the problem”—just confirms how little they value their customers. Thankfully, I haven’t had to go back because The Original Leonor’s located on (Victory & Tujunga) has been amazing. They treat customers with respect and kindness, and I highly recommend going there instead. This review serves as a warning: if you have food allergies or expect even basic courtesy, look elsewhere. Don't worry about me returning especially after that snarky interaction and your defensive/unprofessional response you left on google reviews. I stay loyal to The Original Leonor's. BY THE WAY IT'S YOUR NEGATIVITY PUSHING CUSTOMERS AWAY! ____________________________________________ Original Review: I visited this restaurant with high hopes and a craving for a delicious burrito. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a disappointment and frustration. The customer service I encountered was far below acceptable standards, and it left a sour taste in my mouth. To begin with, my order was completely botched. They managed to make my burrito incorrectly, completely disregarding my specific instructions due to allergy. Instead of getting the mouthwatering combination of flavors I was anticipating, I ended up with a mess that didn't resemble what I had requested. The lack of attention to detail and care in preparing my order was highly disappointing. When I approached the staff about the issue, they reluctantly agreed to make me a new burrito. However, to my disbelief, they had the audacity to charge me for both burritos! Not only did I have to endure the frustration of receiving an incorrect order, but I was also burdened with paying for their mistake. The customer service during this whole ordeal was absolutely abysmal. The staff members specifically the younger female server showed no empathy or understanding of the inconvenience they had caused. They failed to take responsibility for their errors and instead decided to make me pay for their own mistakes. It's truly disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism and customer care in a supposedly reputable establishment. I strongly advise against visiting this place. Read less

The entire faux-hipster scene on the Valley's "Restaurant Row" is SO yucky! Folk standing in lines, (valet parking) paying ridiculous prices just to see-&-be-seen. May I humbly give my highest recommendation to a relaxed little gem just a few blocks north? Leonor's is a tremendous value of fresh, clean, "home-style" Mexican cooking at prices that would easily be doubled if on Ventura Blvd. And, I mean really, who doesn't know by now that the "Food Pyramid" we all got brainwashed into believing, that says meat/dairy MUST be in 2 out of 3 (if not ALL 3!) meals, was a sickening menu drafted by the Ranching Industry. Might you even consider that you're as debilitated as you are because of protein/calcium toxicity rather than deficiency?!?! At Leonor's, you don't even have to make a taste sacrifice to experience a healthy alternative. The gourmet food served here is spectacular! The presentation is beautiful & top-notch delicious! Service is like FAMILY! Live bravely. Take a vegetarian chance away from the neanderthal/carnivorous crowds. Leave your hive-phone in d'car & take a walk on d'wild side. If New York can be thrilled with "Off Broadway" theater, trust me, you will be delighted with OFF Ventura fine dining! OLE'!!! Read less
