Sweet Soulfood is an absolute gem in New Orleans! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and soul. The okra gumbo was rich and comforting, with the perfect amount of spice. The jambalaya had so much depth—it was hearty, satisfying, and completely plant-based, which blew our minds. And don’t even get me started on the cauliflower—perfectly seasoned and roasted to perfection. What made the experience even better was the amazing service. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there. You can feel the love in both the food and the atmosphere. The okra gumbo is so worth trying, and the Philly pasta (I think it was called) was bussin. I rated the atmosphere a 3 star because they could use some music. The staff is really sweet. Also this is niche but I really appreciated how the tables are bolted down to the floor so the table is very sturdy. Read less

I love the food here it is one of few vegan spots to eat in the city. The beans are delicious!!!

One of my favorite places to get real good food. I would eat here every day if I lived close.
