My wife and I decided to eat dinner at Swagat to celebrate our 42nd anniversary. We used to go to their lunch buffet about once a month since before they moved into Zona Rosa, but we fell out of the habit about 5 years ago. We were delighted to find that it was even better than we remembered. Our waiter, Fabiano, was very pleasant and helpful. We were able to request the level of spiciness in our food. We ordered saag paneer with chickpeas, chicken tikka masala, paneer naan and chai. At our request, he brought a small dish of rogan josh sauce. It is a medium spicy, fragrant blend of fresh herbs and spices. I added it in small amounts like a chutney to bites of food. We have been to many Indian restaurants. This was among the best food we have ever had. The chicken was not overcooked. The mildly spiced tikka sauce still had enough spice to have a wonderful flavor. The saag was warmly seasoned with generous cubes of paneer and perfectly cooked chickpeas. It was not bitter. The paneer naan was fluffy and tasty without any burnt parts. The chai had a distinctive blend of spices that was just sweet enough to be addictive. Fabiano kept refilling our cups of chai and then gave us full cups to go. He also gave us each a serving of rice pudding (kheer) to take home for our special day. We brought home enough leftovers for two more meals. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, the portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. We will go back with family and friends. I look forward to exploring their dishes that feature eggplant, okra and lamb. We heartily recommend Swagat to anyone that is tired of the standard western diet. Read less

Deliiicious!!!

Tried the lunch buffet for the first time! It was really enjoyable and my favorite dish was the goat curry! The tikka masala was on the sweeter side but still enjoyable. Definitely very enjoyable!

Food was great and the service. Unfortunately, there is loud MUSIC in the background. I hope they turn it down.
