We love going to Mellow Mushroom but tonight service was terrible and my pizza was overdone/black on edges and pretty crispy. Not sure what was going on with customer service but we sat at our table for a good 15-20 minutes before anyone came to our table to obtain our order and that was after I flagged down a server from a different table. I had this gentleman check to see where our server was? Our server finally arrived and then we sat for another 30 minutes before we asked our server if we were going to get our appetizers with our meal. 10-15 minutes later our appetizers arrived. Then it was at least another 20 minutes to get our pizza, my husband received his first and then I finally got my overdone pizza. This is the worst service we’ve had in Fredericksburg ever. Not sure we will be back anytime soon which is quite sad since we love their food. Please get it together Mellow Mushroom and help your fellow servers when they need it. Many servers/employees walked right past us several times. Read less

best pizza i have had in the US and possibly anywhere. friendly staff. great music. i think my life has been changed by this visit. if you are anywhere near a location i highly recommend visiting

Terrible, order two pizzas at 1225, requested pu at 1305. They said no problem. I arrived at 1305. No pizza at 1345. Terrible service. The only good thing was the counter girl that tried to help.

Mellow Mushroom is normally one of our favorite places but we were disappointed with our visit today. The food was as good as always but the service and food preparation were very slow. Something was going on with the kitchen which delayed the food. Hopefully next time will be better. Read less

We sat at the bar to eat. It was slow but had 1 person working the bar, and it was really busy. I had the create your own pizza, which was good.

We went for a birthday party

One of the better pizza options in the area.
