Once Upon a Thyme was a wonderful place to stop on our way out of town! We arrived just before the lunch rush, so we were able to get a table right away, and the food came out quickly. There’s a great variety to choose from, and everything is made fresh. The sandwiches are made to order, and the chicken and other meats are smoked on-site, which really adds to the flavor. The wraps were big enough to share, and everything tasted amazing. There’s plenty of parking both in the lot and on the street. The pastries looked absolutely delicious—I wish I had picked one up! The decor is super cute, and the staff was incredibly friendly. As we sat and enjoyed our food, we noticed that this place had been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri—and I can totally see why! Great job, y’all—keep up the awesome work. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re traveling the I-5! Read less

I went to the counter to ask for mayo and Marie looked straight at me and said sorry, someone else will have to help you and walked away. So get what you need from the incredibly kind lady that takes the orders cause once you get your food you’re on your on. Read less

Fun little hidden gem! Food was good and they had a lot of great healthy options. We loved that you could get a half sandwich and salad from pretty much any of the menu items, which you can't always do at other places. The decor is vintage and fun. You order at the counter, seat yourself, then they bring the food out, so it isn't a full service sit down place, which is good for a quick bite. It was a little slow, but it was also very busy when we were there (lunch time on a Thursday). Read less

AMAZING food!! You know when a meal is *really* special… like it’s made with love? This place has double helpings of love in the food - and it’s the same every time I’m here. The desserts are phenomenal. My wife loves the chocolate raspberry tart, and the carrot cake here is the best I’ve ever had. Joy, the owner and head chef often checks to make sure you are enjoying your lunch - when she’s not in the back grilling smoked chicken on the Trager for her curry chicken salad (also amazing as a salad or wrap)! You will thoroughly enjoy anything you order here - it’s that good! 🥰 Read less
