Had such a wonderful lunch at True Food Kitchen in Palo Alto today with my 4-year-old! This place really impressed me - the atmosphere is so welcoming and the decor is absolutely stunning. I love how open and bright it feels with all the natural light and beautiful design touches. My little one was thrilled with the kids cheese pizza it was the perfect size and she devoured every bite. I went with the turkey burger and sweet potato hash, and wow, everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. You can really tell they put care into sourcing quality ingredients. The staff was super friendly and patient with my daughter, which always makes dining out with kids so much easier. The whole experience felt relaxed and enjoyable rather than rushed. It’s not always easy to find a place that has great food for adults while still being kid-friendly, but True Food Kitchen nails it. Will definitely be back - already thinking about what to try next time! Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for fresh, delicious food in a beautiful setting. Read less

Ancient grain bowl is a great dish. Also likes watermelon salad, very nice and refreshing. With the cocktail I was fairly disappointed. Ordered passion fruit margarita and it just tasted like a sour artificial juice, nothing else. No tequila, no other flavour. Overall 5 for food, 2 for drinks. Read less

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An outstanding experience at True Food in Palo Alto! From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The atmosphere is warm and modern, and the food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We tried several dishes, and each one was fantastic. The Teriyaki Bowl and the seasonal curry were standouts! What truly made our visit special was the service. Our server, Bee, was incredibly kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. She made sure we were well taken care of and added such a positive energy to our meal. We’ll definitely be coming back soon — highly recommended! Read less

We've only tried their pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, and bowls. We found their pizzas get soggy on the bottom and find it unappetizing afterward. Their burgers seem rushed and drips water from rinsing the lettuce. This excess water also makes the buns soggy. Serving fries with their burgers should be recognized by True Food Kitchen. Their bowls are inconsistent. From day to day, the flavor changes regardless if you get the same dish consecutively. Requests to spice up an order is nonexistent here. In your burger, you may only see 2 small slices of jalapeño. Read less

I've been on the hunt for a solid all-healthy restaurant, and True Kitchen seriously hit the mark and then some! First off, the ambiance is great. The space is clean, bright, and full of color, which made it feel super inviting. You can tell a lot of thought went into the layout and design. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knew the menu really well, which helped since it was my first time there. I ordered the All-American Burger, and instead of fries, I swapped them out for the sweet potato hash, basically grilled, diced sweet potatoes. It was such a refreshing and healthier alternative that still felt like a solid side. The burger itself wasn’t greasy like most places; it was satisfying but didn’t leave me feeling heavy or sluggish afterward. Just really well done all around. To drink, I tried the matcha horchata, and wow, so good. It wasn’t overly sweet (which I appreciate), and they somehow nailed the balance between the earthy matcha and creamy horchata. It weirdly reminded me of drinking the milk left over from Froot Loops, but in a subtle, not-too-sweet kind of way. I know that sounds odd, but trust me, it worked. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and everything I tasted was fresh and thoughtful. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're looking for something healthy without sacrificing flavor or experience. Read less
