This was my first time trying Ethiopian food and it was so delicious. The vegan mezze platter was amazing and I had the vegan stew for my main. I couldn't believe how fresh and tasty the food was. I was definitely in need of a good healthy meal and I was not disappointed, you won't be either if you eat here when in Louisville. I would highly recommend to anyone, especially vegans!! Read less

One of the best Ethiopian Restaurants I have eaten at. Service was great, food was terrific! They use real Teff Injera and the portions were good. Ordered a mixed plate that had all the vegetables with Beef, Chicken, and got Lamb as well. Food took a little bit to come out, but it was worth the wait. Reasonably priced as well. Would recommend. I first tried Addis when I worked downtown in 2011. I absolutely loved it then, but changed jobs and I hadn't had it again until tonight. I'm happy to say it's just as delicious as it was then, maybe even better. The restaurant itself is much improved, the prices have gone up (no surprise there), and the proprietors are as nice and friendly as can be. Can't wait to go back! Read less

Hidden gem!!! I got the chicken kabab platter. The chicken has great flavor and is cooked perfectly (moist, not dry!). The hummus it comes with is out of this world 😁 thank you
