Great texture and flavor there I also had an amazing iced London Fog with cashew milk and the maple coconut donut. I really recommend coming here even if you’re not a vegan as they have meat options as well Read less

Going to this cafe was definitely a trip. Located in the Polish Hill neighbourhood, It’s a one off cafe surrounded by lot of residential buildings. I had been meaning to go here for a long time, but then the lack of public transport options from my home made it a deterrent. When I arrived, I was the only one in the cafe, but it filled up pretty quickly. I could sense that this was a neighbourhood cafe because almost everybody who came in made conversations with the owners and seemed to know them. The interior is rather simple and scrappy. They were room at the back if you want a little bit of peace and quiet, but I prefer to sit in the main area because I was working and I needed a power outlet and they did not have a lot of those to be honest. I put it in a category of cafes where you go to grab a coffee and chat and not necessarily work. There are plenty of better options if you want to work from a cafe, but they a lot of time lack the soul which this place has. They also known for their vegan options, but I wasn’t feeling particularly vegan, so I just got the regular stuff. I got the cappuccino, which was how cappuccino should be and very well-made. I also got the BLT as I was pretty hungry, and they apparently also have a vegan bacon which I’m very curious as to how it tastes, but I did not want to try it this particular morning. The BLT was extremely delicious. it was very simply made with fresh tomatoes, good lettuce, and most importantly, very good bread. They were no fancy ingredients, but the simplicity of the BLT and the quality of the ingredients made it stand out. I would definitely be back to try other things on the menu. Read less

I live right up the street and Kaibur has been my go-to forever. The 16oz hot mocha with regular milk is consistently excellent—just the right balance of bold + sweet, and always made with care. The space itself has this laid-back, lived-in feel that totally captures the Polish Hill vibe. It’s a little gritty, super warm, and the light through the front windows in the afternoon is unreal—especially if you're into documenting texture and natural light. I’ve walked past this spot a hundred times, but this time I paused and snapped a photo because the block just looked perfect. For anyone exploring Pittsburgh neighborhoods, Kaibur is one of those places that still feels real Read less

Great experience, and best vegan breakfast sandwich I ever had (by the way the vegan bacon is no different than the regular bacon we all love!) Oh, did I mention the vegan donuts were also some the best I have run across. Oh, I almost forgot their coffee was great, and a super Pittsburgh experience if you are not from here. If you are not vegan, no problem as everything can be made for you too. Read less
