This is one of our favorite restaurants in this city! We usually order to-go about once/week. The food is very good and fresh - our go tos are the cauliflower wings with buffalo, fried mushroom oysters, guacamole, and taco salad with avocado. We unfortunately aren’t able to go and sit down to eat, but whenever we go pick up, all of the staff is super friendly. Also really appreciate the owner’s activism and integrity. • We were not greeted when we entered nor were we told that we had to seat ourselves. • The waiter did not automatically introduce himself or attempt to take our order until he was asked. • The food took about 30 minutes to come out; though I can allow some grace because there was a large table in front of us (the only order in front of us). • The waffles are so thick, flavorless, and heavy/dense that they are unenjoyable. My sister equated the flavor to dish soap. However, in my personal experience they tasted healthy (which isn’t a problem but they taste like nothing). They are not worth the calories. • The cauliflower wings were also flavorless. They were fried to my liking though. • My mother said the wrap she had “was not worth the calories.” It was lacking something; perhaps it was flavor or sauce. • We didn’t even finish our food before we left. A waste of money! I would not even feed this food to my dogs. *There is also NO parking!* This restaurant only gets two stars because the decor is nice. Read less
