Amazing food amazing service. The variety of food menu was great. The service was very courteous and attentive. Loved the Chicken satay, Pepper Chicken and Roti Canai a lot. Going to be regular here.

Sesame chicken was delicious, the vegetable fried rice was good, as well and my food came out quickly, However my service was not the best, I had to get my own straw, get my waitress attention, to pay, needed napkins. I did tip my waitress 20% because it was Mother's Day, and the prices were reasonable. I do recommend this restaurant and I will go back again. Read less

We absolutely loved our first experience at Mamak Kitchen. We tried the Naan and dumplings for appetizers. They were both amazing. I can’t recommend one over the other so just get both. lol My fiancé ordered the magnolia beef and I ordered the sweet honey chicken. The magnolia beef was flavorful. The sweet honey chicken wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t order it again because it was entirely too sweet and reminded me of orange chicken you buy from a grocery store frozen section. For our first drink before eating we ordered the butterfly pea tea which was absolutely delicious and very cute. With our entrees we ordered a Thai tea and hibiscus refresher. The Thai tea was great, but my fiancé wasn’t too thrilled with the hibiscus refresher. I would have given this place 5 stars, but the server wasn’t really very attentive, but the service was good. She was in the employee area, but never checked on us so we had to call her over. The ambiance is very nice and the food was served hot and expeditiously. Overall we would visit again and we would recommend it to others. Read less

Stumbled upon this vegan spot on Buford Highway and can’t believe I hadn’t come across it before. It’s definitely a hidden gem in the area. The space is clean and surprisingly spacious for the location, though I did find myself wishing there was an outdoor seating option—especially on a nice day. The menu has a good variety, and the food is thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients. Nothing felt overly heavy or greasy, which I appreciate. Service was straightforward and efficient. Overall, it’s a solid option if you’re in the area and looking for something plant-based that’s satisfying without trying too hard Read less

I come from Singapore and recently moved here so I was really elated to find food back from home pretty close to me, especially a vegan restaurant since we are vegetarians. Me and my husband dined here yesterday and we liked the food. We ordered olive fried rice (was really good and authentic), lemak curry and curry chicken. I would like to comment though that the restaurant kitchen should be more generous with the curry portion of the lemak curry and curry chicken, especially the lemak curry. There was so little curry amongst the huge cut vege. Since I dislike okra and brinjal and huge cut tomatoes, I really only ordered the dish for the gravy and the tofu, and while I get that not liking those vegetables is my problem, anyone who wants to eat it with the rice it is served with would definitely need more of that gravy. I was literally hunting for the gravy under those vegetables from the beginning of eating the dish, so that was a put off. The restaurant should be more mindful of how customers would eat it or enjoy the dish, especially since the price you are charging is not cheap. I also didn’t expect the tofu to be silken tofu, but it was nevertheless nice, just not what I’m used to with this dish. Also, the customer service could be better. No one came to us to take our order although they were standing right there at the cashier and waiting so I presumed we had to go to the cashier and order ourselves. I stood up and went to the cashier and was told they will come to me. Well then what were you waiting for? They were not busy or occupied at that time. Please take my review as constructive feedback, I really love this place and definitely will be back again. I just hope some of the above things can be improved. Read less
