Really great vegan food! I was in the area and found this little spot and was very impressed with what I ordered. I’m always happy to find a spot where everything on the menu is vegan so I don’t have to think about what I’m ordering. The yellow noodles with veggies and mushroom sauce was delicious. They were even able to accommodate my request for soy beef only. We also had the veggie spring rolls and loved it very much! The peanut sauce dipped them in as delicious! The gentleman helping us at the counter was super friendly and got us everything we needed. He was able to recommend a dish based on what I wanted. I would definitely come back here again! Read less

Great all around restaurant, definitely one of the best vegan places in the OC, even if you're not vegan, you'll be very impressed by the flavor and quality of the food. They really know how to make vegan taste great. The space itself is a bit small, less than a dozen tables, but we've been here many times for lunch and never found it crowded. Mitasie is a local owned business that has that family feel, the staff are very nice, always greet us and smile. There is a great lunch special that includes drinks, choose either an iced or they also offer a special watermelon juice with real fruit in it. We have been to this restaurants at least 20 times and it's been consistently good, it's become our go-to for quality vegan. The pho noodle soup, vegan burger and soy garlic noodles are among our favorites. The prices are also quite reasonable, especially compared to more expensive options in nearby Irvine. Mitasie Vegan Cafe truly impressed! We tried the Thai Iced Tea, Shaking Soy Beef, and Chocolate Cake, and each dish was phenomenal. The 'Shaking Soy Beef' in particular was incredibly flavorful and satisfying, completely meeting my expectations for a hearty vegan meal. Absolutely delicious food, I have never ordered something I didn’t like. They have such a range from burgers to pho, I can’t recommend this place enough. Food always comes out fresh and fast. Service is great. Their mock meats are seasoned and prepared expertly. They have a lunch special from 11am - 2pm that is absolute deal. Definitely check this place out. Read less

We went with friends and we all shared and ordered several dishes: garlic noodles, salt and pepper shrimp, pad thai, sweet and sour chicken, salted pepper crispy tofu, da bomb, sweet pork barbecue spring roll, crispy mushroom, Thai teas, ice coffee, chocolate cake, lemon cake, and tiramisu cake. We had no expectations and surprisingly, each dish tasted unique in its own way. With vegan cafes, it’s difficult to produce each dish with its own flavor using the same limited meat substitutes available, but this restaurant did a fantastic job of bringing out the unique flavor of each plate. The desserts were superb and our favorite was the chocolate cake. Tiramisu cake was a bit sour and the Thai teas weren’t that sweet, but overall the food was great and I would highly recommend to anyone. Read less
