We had a fantastic experience! We sat at the bar and chose the smaller Onyx tasting menu — every dish was delicious. Jared, the bartender, was incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, and his New Orleans Fizz was a standout — a creative and refreshing twist on the classic gin fizz. Honestly, the cocktails alone are worth the visit. We also opted for the wine pairing, expertly curated by the sommelier, Emma. Her selections perfectly complemented each course, and I’ll definitely be following up to get her full pairing list. The appetizer and dessert were the highlights for me. The dessert, in particular, was a nostalgic treat — it tasted just like Froot Loops and instantly transported me back to childhood, much like the scene in Ratatouille when Ego is reminded of his mother’s cooking. We decided against the wine pairing and opted instead to create our own cocktail pairing throughout dinner. Top notch. My only feedback - I’d wished for a more in depth description of the why and how behind our courses. The wait staff did a great explaining what we were having, but to take the experience up a notch, I’d love to hear about why the specific plates are chosen, where ingredients are sourced, and how the dish is uniquely envisioned. I’ve had a similar experience at other fine dining establishments, and it really elevates the evening. Otherwise, this was an incredible choice for a special occasion. I would absolutely return. The wine and non-alcoholic pairings were also excellent and they were able to accommodate a gluten-free diet (one of the best gf rolls I’ve ever had). This was one of the best dining experiences of my life. Owning a restaurant, I always look at how well the team works together and this team was flawless. From the phone call ahead of dinner reserving a table to the Sommelier recommending wines throughout the meal and at dessert. The vegan cheese plate was *chef's kiss* WOW. Every course was more delicious than the last. Even Elizabeth herself stopped by the table multiple times to check in and inquire about my experience.
