A Hidden Gem Worth the Drive! We had superb soul food at Flame on Vegan, and what a find! It’s the kind of place that makes you want to drive all the way to Springfield just for dinner. I had the best vegan mac and cheese I’ve ever tasted—rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. The beans were fantastic, and even the garnish on the plate was bursting with flavor. Everything was grilled to perfection, and for the first time in my life, I felt compelled to shake the chef’s hand. The fried “chicken” drumsticks, made with fluffy seitan, were a standout. I’ve tried many versions of seitan before, but never one this soft and this close to the texture of the real thing. It wasn’t just the textures, though—every bite was so flavorful, clearly created with intention and care. I truly hope they’ll open a location near Boston someday. Flame on deserves to become a long-standing institution—one we’ll proudly take our grandkids to decades from now. Read less

This was me and my husbands first time ever trying vegan food, I just want to say this was PHENOMENAL!! So before I get into the food imma explain the overall experience. When we walked in we were greeted beautifully they answered all our questions requested whatever sounded amazing to us and got to business. The chef knew what he was doing!! The food was cooked to perfection we recommend the beans for everything they’re fantastic, everything you see in our photo was immaculate thank you for the amazing service and we’ll be back!!
