Gaia & Loki in Jersey City is a true gem! The veggie sandwich was absolutely delicious—packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. We also tried a few other items, and every dish came out looking elegant and beautifully plated. You can tell they put real thought into both the taste and presentation. The environment is warm, modern, and full of good energy—perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. My fiancé and I recently stumbled upon Gaia and Loki for an impromptu date night, and it turned out to be one of the best spontaneous decisions we’ve made in a while! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm, inviting atmosphere and the friendly staff. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we really appreciated the care they put into making us feel comfortable. The food? Absolutely incredible. Every bite was full of flavor and clearly made with fresh, quality ingredients. We shared a few dishes and couldn’t pick a favorite — everything we tried was just that good. The menu had a great balance of creativity and comfort, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. To top it off, the prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality of the experience. Gaia and Loki is definitely a hidden gem, and we’re already planning our next visit. Such a great brunch option in JC. Service is amazing so is the ambience. We ordered the pineapple burger, pesto pasta and peach cobbler waffles. The pineapple burger was surprisingly good, the pineapple was charred and had a great flavour which complimented the garlic aioli. The burger patty was also well seasoned though slightly dry. The burger bun could be better though, was a bit tough. The peach cobbler waffles were great in texture and taste. The peach cobbler itself was good as well. Pesto pasta was also perfect (a tad bit oily). The attention to detail and presentation was also great and adds to the experience. I will recommend this place to all my friends and I believe this is a must-visit. Read less

Came her on a Friday night around 6 without a reservation and was seated, there is the bar and two tables for non reservation people. Each table has a bottle to of water with mint in it, which is such a nice touch. The staff is super friendly. At the end of the meal they gave a complimentary gluten free cookie since they ran out of the regular ones, we liked it so we bought one to go too. The owner was so nice and apologized that they had not more regular ones. This place reminds me of a Greek diner, they have a gyro on the menu which was recommended but we went with the pineapple fried rice and the grilled portobello sandwich, plenty of food for us, the salad was huge and packed the toppings. The standout was the pecan dressing. Thick, cream and sweet, I never had anything like it before and it was one of the best dressings I’ve tried. I also like the sesame sticks in the salad which added a nice crunch, as did the walnuts, plenty of mushrooms as well. My husband’s rice was the perfect combo of sweet and salty. Had an umami flavor and also came with Nan bread and avocado which balanced out the dish. The prices are between 20-30 a dish which is reasonable for the quality and portion. They have a great desert menu and we were tempted to get cake but opted for a cookie so I can eat it at the movie we were going to. Food came out at a reasonable place and we spent about an hour here, some tables where there longer and they will definitely not rushing anyone, also there is one bathroom and it’s very clean. I want to come back and will make a reservation next time. I highly recommend for vegan, vegetarian and even meat eaters just because the staff, portions and flavors are so good. Read less

Absolutely delicious food, even the non vegan people in my group kept on praising how good the food was. Lovely restaurant with a very nice atmosphere, definitely recommend.
