Great Chinese food!

Leo's spot is amazing, the dry spicy chicken is so amazing. And I've never had twice cooked pork like this either.

Hai Master Kitchen reminds me of the neighborhood Chinese restaurants I went to as a kid. The food is very affordable (a combo plate is only $10 which is unheard of in OC). And the quality of food is good, much higher than you would expect at this price point. However, what made this restaurant stand out was the customer service. Leo was an owner and our server. He was friendly and made an effort to make everyone in the restaurant feel welcome. Most servers don't put in any effort. Leo clearly cared and that was a breath of fresh air. Next time you feel like ordering takeout, try Hai instead. It might just be your next favorite restaurant down the block. Read less

I grew up in New York, where Chinese food is everywhere. This is the best Chinese food I have found in California. The staff is wonderful. Haven't had anything here that wasn't excellent. Particularly like the hot and sour soup (excellent if you have a cold) The vegetable spring rolls are also excellent. Read less
