The inside is so well decorated! It was a fun vibe and I loved the decor. I started with a Thai iced tea and we shared an order of the egg rolls which were really good! I loved the sauce it came with as well. I ordered the pad see ew with chicken for my entree. It wasn’t bad, but also not the best I’ve had. The service was great and we had people checking on us regularly. Overall it’s a cute spot! Read less

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend and it didn’t disappoint! It’s so cute and cozy inside. My drunken noodles were delicious and the Empress Lychee cocktail was a special treat. The cocktails were expensive as expected, but my entree was only about $17, definitely reasonable. I came by myself and the waitstaff took good care of me. Definitely worth the visit! Read less

Located in a bustling neighborhood of DuPont, just a little away from all the craziness, this restaurant sits one flight of stairs up from the road. The vibe here is Southeast Asian, with lots of vibrant colors and umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. The restaurant itself is somewhat narrow, and you’re seated quite close to the neighboring tables. As for the food, we started with the curry puffs, which weren’t particularly impressive. The spring rolls were oily and didn’t meet the usual Thai spring roll expectations — we could have skipped both appetizers. For the entrees, we ordered the vegetarian version of the Massaman curry and the Khao Soi with tofu and vegetables. Both were really tasty and definitely worth trying. However, the service was disappointing. We were seated but not attended to for at least 15 minutes. During that time, a few other tables were seated and had their orders taken. That felt odd. When our server finally arrived, she seemed rushed and not particularly happy to be helping us. When we asked a few questions about the menu (since it was our first time there), she responded rudely and begrudgingly, creating a rather hostile experience. She only checked in on us once during our entire visit. To be fair, a couple of other staff members who brought out our food were friendly and pleasant — but not the lady who initially served us. Maybe she didn’t speak the language well, but even so, good customer service goes a long way. Overall: the entrees were great, but the appetizers and service left a lot to be desired. Read less
