Our latest Grain Cafe delicious meal was a late takeout order. The food was fresh, hot, on time and packed nicely. We really enjoyed the cobb salad and the burrito. The soup of the day was outstanding with a ton of flavor. The black beans and rice were a nice hearty side and the green sauce had a little kick but not too much heat. The cobb salad was a lovely presentation and the flavors were great. Overall we got great food at a good value and the location is convenient and very nice inside.. it feels very warm and cozy. I have been to this location numerous times. What I enjoy are the delicious vegan options, that’s why I continue to come back again and again. There is one Latino gentleman who is extremely attentive and friendly each time we visit (typically during 11am-1pm time). As great as the food and service is from this specific person (I wish I knew his name because his service is amazing), the date is 11/3/2024, the time is 4:45pm, there is a young woman attending to orders, and I have been waiting on sushi and side salads for close to 20 minutes now. I will continue to come back but I wish the expediency and urgency of each order is taken more seriously because I feel like it isn’t. NOTE: the food was 100% delicious Read less

We are from UK. First trip to California. We wish this place was closer to home! Very tasty Mexican vegan food. Great staff too. Highly recommend to all vegans.
