I'd been wanting to try True Food Kitchen for quite some time, and it lived up to my expectations and then some! The food was inspired, delicious and healthy. Had to try the burger along with some of the healthier options, and it was the best burger I've had in some time! The atmosphere and décor is top notch. Definitely feels like healthy positive vibes when you walk in. Our server Sera was absolutely phenomenal! She took great care of us, helping us move tables from the patio when the wind and rain started, and was genuinely kind and personable. Will definitely be coming back! Read less

Trendy spot with good grub and good vibes overall. I recommend getting the edamame wontons to start. It was a saturday night with a steady flow of people but we were seated & served quickly. Our server was a man and they always do the bare minimum so it wasnt phenomenal service BUT he was generally polite so points for that. The meal portions were just enough to have you satisfied but not completely stuffed. Plenty of Vegan options as well! Read less

I ate every bite including the mushrooms. The dragonfruit lemonade was tasty and pretty to look at. It’s neat to be able to see the kitchen from your table. Read less

I enjoy this restaurant every time I visit KC. The decor is inviting, cheerful and natural. The restaurant is very clean and crisp. I especially appreciate the many live plants. The staff is friendly, professional, and caring. They pay special attention to allergies and take them seriously. I ordered takeout tonight and Grace was very attentive to my meal as it was being made. As a note, they have gluten free buns, but they do contain milk (the staff did a great job of telling me). I made the choice to try the buns and can attest that there is a significant enough amount of diary to cause a reaction. They have plenty of options if you have food allergies. Also, they use avocado oil and olive oil to cook. Read less
