Holy bonkers!! That was fantastic!! PiANTA has been our favorite vegan restaurant since our first bites years ago. My husband isn't even vegan but always leaves happy. The egg rolls are always a must for us. But tonight we also devoured the quedadilla(bomb, full of flavor), Za'atar(light and refreshing but filling and satisfying, clearly made from scratch) and cannoli dip (mind blowing, it rocked my taste buds). Terry was such a sweetie and took great care of us. We ended up chatting with the owners husband before we left, who's clearly very proud of his wife and what she's built. Unfortunately we don't live in the area and don't make it to Providence often, which is probably a good thing, cause I'd eat here multiple times a week if it were more convenient for me Just one thing....BRING BACK THE ITALIAN GRINDER!! This place has so much potential, unfortunately we won’t be back. I tried to find an email address to send along feedback but unfortunately couldn’t find one. I hope you can use this feedback to continue to work out the kinks. - The appetizer and entrees were served all at the same time. The timing being off was a theme. - The jalapeño corn cakes were yummy but we had a hard time enjoying them - Cronchwrap tasted good but the “meat” inside was cold while the rest was warm - Vodka Penne served with “pink vodka sauce” was not vodka sauce. It was a very red, spicy sauce that again was yummy but not what I ordered. Menu did not indicate that it would be spicy which was okay for me but surely problematic for others. Pasta was undercooked (stuck to your teeth). - lemonade and iced tea were delicious - Server mentioned yummy desserts when we were eating - However after we were done eating we waited 20-30 minutes until she came back over. We weren’t in a rush but very odd given the sense of rushed timing at the beginning of the meal. She did not offer dessert at this time. - Server needs training. Took away drink that wasn’t finished, cleared dishes we were using, quickly cleaned up table prior to us getting up including grabbing the cash tip which was all just a bit odd. She said she had been there 2 weeks. It was not busy at all but she clearly wasn’t ready to handle the evening on her own. Very very nice! We did give her some of this feedback but all of it felt mean. Again, an email would have been preferable. - overpriced for what we got and serving sizes. Pasta was highly undercooked, there was an odd sweetness with the veggies on the risotto, and I was not a huge fan of the seasoning on the shwarma. The hummus with the shwarma was good, though it was a little overly sweet too. It pains me to give a vegan restaurant anything less than a perfect rating, but sadly the food here wasn’t great. I thought the sauce on the mac and cheese was fine and the risotto had a good texture. The floor was very sticky. Read less

This place had great ratings on all services, and I would hate to ruin that. My problem was that the food did not nearly live up to my expectations. The sauces on both penne dishes were great, however the penne pasta was very undercooked leaving it dry and giving it a texture that was hard to enjoy. I regret having ordered the risotto dish as it was weirdly sweet and I couldn’t eat more than two bites. The waitress was very nice and the food came out quick, that I cannot critique. I simply found the food underwhelming for all I have seen about this restaurant. Read less

We celebrated my granddaughter’s birthday and Lily could not have been any more accommodating. I was not sure what to expect , food wise but it was excellent! I especially enjoyed the steak tacos, roasted Brussels sprouts, and penne a la vodka. Who knew vegan could be so tasty. Thank you Lily for your kindness and great service!!! Read less
