We wanted to try something different, so we stopped by this place. I tried the ribs and my wife tried the shrimp plate. The ribs were fatty and the sauce was too sweet. The meat was warm when served. I knew they were baked but I expected better. The macaroni was cold. The wife's plate was a bit disappointing as well. The rice was not good and the shrimp was bland. Lastly, they don't serve name brand drinks. I'm okay with that but at $450 for a generic cola, the flavor was not good. Even if it's a healthier alternative, it should not have a taste that ruins your dining experience. In all fairness, the staff was great and the decor was inviting. Read less

Spicy Teriyaki was good, perfect kick of spice, Ginger Tumeric Basmati rice was surprisingly delicious and the Rainbow Carrots & Golden Beets were roasted while maintaining their nutrient value.

Great area! And great service! And food is also amazingly fresh. I truly appreciated the sous Chef Jose he is very nice and welcoming ! Thank you urban plates!

As many other reviews have claimed the atmosphere and the service at Urban plates is good. I go often, and am often greeted by Jolie, Khalil, Stephani or Ruby. They all provide great service and I have no complaints. All thought the service is great over the years I have noticed a change in the food quality when it comes to some items sometimes being cold , too rich or poor. I don’t find all the food to be this way and for the most part to hold good quality for the most part. I personally enjoy most of their sandwiches and find good meals in the variety which the menu holds. With the quality of service and food Urban plates makes a great location for lunch or dinner. The cashier was great the moment we arrived. He was friendly and patient. Then the moment we sat down, Manuel greeted us as we were sitting at our table to give us water and he was so friendly. He had a warm smile and left us a small treat as well. I was on a lunch date with my daughter . It was my first time here and what a great experience I had. I will be back . Thank you 😊 Read less
