Fantastic vegan takeout restaurant right around the corner from white eagle hall. I had the chickpea sandwich and a cookie and loved both. My friend had the barbecue jerk sandwich, both of which tasted incredible. The lobby only had two tables to eat at but for a pretty reasonable price (including sides) it's well worth it's money as a high quality takeout restaurant. Can't wait to come back and try something new! Read less

In the ocean of greasy gastropubs and burger joints that is Jersey City, there sits an oasis of delicious vegan food called Power Plant Kitchen. Power Plant is by far my favorite place in the area to get take out, and I'm not even a vegetarian. It's healthy enough without sacrificing flavor, and has plenty of great options. I personally love the BBQ seitan. Soooo thankful to have this spot as an option. Read less

Great, flavorful vegan food. Prices were good, and the lady at the counter was polite and had a good attitude. I assume it's mostly for takeout, as there was only one small table, with two stools.
