ordered ahead so i could pick up quickly… the order wasn’t ready or even started yet when i arrived 10 min after the scheduled pick up time. staff ignored me for five minutes until i flagged them down and they were out of multiple ingredients and forgot to give me my bread. the food is good but they wasted over half of my lunch break just to get my food :/ Read less

I had not eaten at Verde in a while and my husband picked up 2 wraps to take home. One was big enough for both my husband and I so we put the other one in the refrigerator for later. The ingredients were probably good but there was so much dressing, we could hardly taste them or even eat the wrap. It was drenched and dripping with dressing. I can’t imagine why the person making it out so much dressing on it as to make it almost inedible. We did manage to eat the first wrap but could not imagine having to deal with all of that dressing again and threw the other one away. Maybe they should ask if you want heavy or light dressing or offer to put it on the side. Or if we eat there again we will pay closer attention to the person making it and ask for light dressing. Great place if you are on Dr. Esselstyn's reversing heart disease diet of lifestyle (dresselstyn.com). Create your own salad with lots of choices of greens, grains, fruits and veggies! You can make one of the healthiest salads and it's enough for two people. We visit this location most of the times we visit Mount Pleasant or Charleston area. Read less

I really do love Verde, but some of the changes recently are making me go there less and less. I loved the champagne vinaigrette and it's not available anymore, and today's bowl was chopped (supposed to be composed) and was really peppery. Really bummed when an order comes out wrong (has happened a few times lately) because when you're grabbing takeout on your lunch break you don't have time (or want to go back and fix it.). I don't mind the new containers--i thought there was too much food in the old ones to begin with. Read less

Possibly the best salad I've ever eaten. Great spot after a beach day when you don't want something heavy but still want to feel full. The salads are BIG, toppings are perfectly proportioned, and they mix everything together which feels like an added bonus. I ordered a seasonal salad - This is how we (spring) roll - and my friend did a create-your-own style. We both wish we had this restaurant closer to our homes (I will be bringing all my guests here when I take them out toward the beach or into Charleston). Also, their strawberry limeade is fresh and tastes like you're drinking a strawberry. So delicious. Clean place. Not crowded. Lots of parking. Tables are really close together, but it's just a small space and there weren't a lot of people, so it wasn't a problem for us. Also, their dressings are all gluten-free, so if you have that dietary restriction, you're safe. :) Read less
