Disappointed by unfair service charge policy We recently visited this restaurant as a group of four adults and one child who is under 4 years old. To our surprise, a 12% service charge was automatically added to our bill because we were considered a group of five — including our toddler. I’ve never experienced a place that counts a small child toward the total party size for service charge purposes. When we raised this with the staff, we had to argue our point before they finally agreed to remove the charge. It left a sour taste after what could have been an enjoyable meal. Rupa Vira’s The Signature is an absolute delight for vegetarian food lovers. The Malai Kofta was rich, creamy, and full of flavor—one of the best I’ve ever had! Every bite felt like comfort food at its finest. We also enjoyed the garlic naan and dal makhani, which were equally delicious. But the highlight was the Gajar Halwa—warm, perfectly sweet, and full of nostalgia. It reminded me of home and my mom’s cooking.
