The food seems to be skillfully cooked using good recipes, but many of the dishes include this powerful, unwelcome bitter note that I'm not sure what to make of. (I think it might have been coming in through the lion's mane?) I only went once, while driving through the area, so this might have been a fluke unique to just that one day. There aren't a lot of vegan places in the area, so I do recommend trying it, if you can figure out where to leave your car! (Parking was a challenge.) Read less

Great food! They gave me chips, salsa, and a juice with my order! It was all phenomenal. I like that they’re open late too, now. Best vegan spot in Harrisburg for sure.

Professionalism goes a long way, especially in the food industry. I never made it past the initial stage of even trying this “restaurants”food due to the lack of professionalism when I attempted to place an order, I was met with a hostile and entitled attitude. This review will be concise , there are better places and ways to spend your money, especially on a quick effortless meal. Ward of Health is not one of them. Read less
