This was a really great experience. Our food was amazing. I had the Fatu salad 10 out of 10 and we had mushroom lavender soup which tasted absolutely amazing.

Best culinary experience I've had in a long time

Sooooo good! We went for lunch and sampled different apps. Everything was beautiful and delicious. Even the latte was exceptional! Definitely going back for dinner.

Amazing food, recommend the mushroom knaff, quinoa cakes, and also just try any of the specials - they’re amazing. It’s also a fun experience interacting with the owner/chef/server who is very blunt and will not hesitate to school/scold you on a bad combo choice, too few items ordered, or whatever he finds objectionable. Went for lunch after seeing an exhibit at the de Young museum. So delicious! One of the best restaurants in all of the SF Bay Area. Unassuming place tucked away close to the park, but offering unbelievably delicious vegetarian dishes. Very well priced, served by a very warm and welcoming chef. Everything we have tried here was amazing, Michelin Star level food. Desserts were incredible too. Special mention to the Hodo tofu Mujadara, Kunafeh, and potato pastry (forgot the name). We can drive up all the way from SJ just to eat here. Read less
