Service really depends on when you go. Last time it was great. Yesterday it was so bad that we canceled our food order and walked out while the waitress was still talking trash to me and being so unbelievably rude and unprofessional. The "manager" could not have cared less. So that's a roll of the dice but delicious food. Nice atmosphere in the bar/dining room. Hidden gem inside Santa Cruz market. And BONUS you can shop for all your favorite exotic goodies in the market. Looking for a 4 inch thick tomahawk steak? The butcher's got em! Epic. Beer, wine & liquor selection is off the chirts! Went in ordered first out of a group of 5 and one of the people in my group came up and said hey there’s a bar here let’s sit over there and the kid at the register had to get the manager and she said no we can’t eat at the bar because I already ordered. She said it’s because it costs more to dine in. I offered to pay more and I was going to have a few beers and tip well and she still said no sorry you already ordered to go. It was very rude of her and ruined the vibe not sure what her problem was but they lost out on 5 customers that were going to order food and beer. Read less
