The food here was amazing. The fried tofu was so good. It was perfectly crispy and the inside just melted. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy and just cooked to perfection. Personally, the sauce was a bit off for us. Regardless it's a must-stop if you are hungry and want to eat. Highly recommend this restaurant. Read less

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! IF YOU ARE BLACK LISTEN UP!!! I was asked here or togo, when I told the guy here he then asked multiple times is it togo, then was told to pay before I eat, the guy up front let everybody else eat ....then pay. I paid and was given tap water from sink (water was VERY off putting) and was only given 1 water no refills. I OBSERVED the guy upfront give the other customers that wasnt BLACK fresh LEMON water multiple times and skipped me!!! He checked on them multiple times and was very friendly to them but had a cold attitude towards me.. HIGHLY Disappointed!!!! I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!! DO BETTER!! Read less

The restaurant staff was incredible rude when we asked about cross-contamination for Celiac Disease and an Egg Allergy. The waiter kept saying “just look at the menu” and suggested to pick something without gluten!!???! When we called back over when our table was ready to order, we finally got him to acknowledge that everything is cooked in the same pan and not separately. He did not understand what “contaminated” was and did not allow us to speak to the kitchen staff. We left and ate somewhere else. Read less

I came here for lunch while attending a conference at McCormick Place. The mapo tofu was so good! Service was also great.

Portions are pretty generous as well, took about half mine home! Where veggie house really shines is the variety of options. Fake meat, tofu, mushrooms, there's something here for all vegans or vegetarians. Read less
